If they can’t see how much you mean to them, than may be you should stop trying.
With all due respect, if you put that much effort just to see a smile or to see them laugh or may be just to cheer them up but they don’t take the time to appreciate or give two fucks about you then why bother anymore. All you’re doing is wasting your time. Why make them happy when you can make someone else happy that will actually appreciate all the things you do for them.
